Training

Message from the EC:  If you spend four or five hours a week on Ham Radio, consider setting aside an hour or so and complete the IS-700 course. Some of the Staff have completed one or more courses, myself included, and can tell you that they are quite informative and help you to understand what the process at the EOC is all about during an emergency "Incident".  The courses are very well thought out and are easy to follow.  Eventually all four courses will need to be completed but as of this time, (June 29, 2005) the Emergency Manager has asked all hands to have IS-700, Awareness, completed by September this year.  Save your documentation and we'll record it in the roster.   73, Irv.
