Below that is the Astron 50 amp power suply. The next space will be used to house the remote base and APRS Digi. At the bottom is the spare 35 amp GE power supply.

Project Completed!
This is the finished product, tuned up and working GREAT.
Below the Sheriff's backup repeater is the new controller (Top) purchased by the county. Below that is the old controller that will be used for a backup if something goes wrong. Below the Astron power supply is the shelf holding the remote base (Left) and the APRS Digipeater (Right). |

Tower
This is the tower the antennas are mounted on. The bottom antenna is the Remote base at 60 feet - a dual-band fiberglass antenna. The next one up is the APRS Digi mounted at 100 feet - it's a commercial 4 bay. The next one is the repeater antenna at 260 feet - also a commercial 4 bay. The top 2 antennas are the Sherriff's. Note that the 4 bay type antennas seem to be much less prone to lighting strikes and damage than the fiberglass type. |
